Really nice physiatrist (Rachna), she made me feel very comfortable and reassuring about feeling emotional. She was very helpful with explaining the diagnosis and what it means and ways you can benefit from further help such as therapy. Shorter waiting time than expected, from gp appointment to appointment with psychiatryUK took about 9 months. Overall, positive experience which has helped me a lot and I'm glad I was on the waiting list with psychiatry UK.

Ross and Shazia made me feel at ease. Were kind, considerate, patient and listened well. I am relieved and thankful to have had my consultation and understand my diagnosis as I now feel positive with my next steps and options.

The only improvement I can suggest would be what I assume is already repeated quite a lot; waiting times. My experience otherwise was good, I felt understood and validated.

Psychiatry UK provided my ADHD treatment, their information packs, access to medication and ability to answer my questions promptly. I always felt like I was in good hands during my treatment period. They were honest and forthcoming with information whilst monitoring my progress weekly to ensure my safety. I am very happy that my shared care was completely by PsychiatryUK.

The initial forms are quite long and it took me a while to fill them out, specifically because I struggled with getting started and staying focused. I had my assessment with Dr Peter Hughes and he was very professional and understanding. I went through titration with Independent Nurse Prescriber Lorraine Forsythe and she was supportive, communicative, and a joy to speak to. The titration process was straightforward, with weekly forms and reviews, and I received fantastic care from Lorraine. It was 22 months from the time I reached out to my GP to the end of titration, and though it was a long wait, I'm happy with the care and treatment I received. Thank you to Dr Hughes and Lorraine for all the hard work that you do!
