My journey into my ADHD/Neurodivergent diagnosis has not been an easy one. I spent most of my life thinking that there's something different about me. Could it be ADHD? I could never apply myself long enough to discover that answer. It was such a struggle. When the pandemic hit I made a concerted effort to push forwards. I finally did. I received my official diagnosis. At 38. It was cathartic and beyond validating. Finally.
Then the next step began as I started my titration with new medications. That's when I met Salma. I can't offer enough words of praise for how amazing she is at her job. Genuine empathy, consistently reliable. A true credit to her craft and Psychiatry UK. It's been an absolute pleasure. Now, I feel like a far better version of myself. And Salma has helped me every step of the way.
My only critique is the delivery firm they use to bring medication. Unfortunately they are frequently unreliable, have terrible contact and have not turned up multiple times when they've stated that they would. The delivery firm sadly put an unfortunate blemish on the amazing work being done at Psychiatry UK.
