I was honestly blown away by Dr McGilligan. He was the kindest, most patient and articulate doctor I have ever met. I went in with what I thought was a mole that could be cancerous but thankfully after inspection it was just a seborrheic keratosis. He then checked my other moles and was really reassuring. Dr McGilligan took the time to explain the things to look out for in terms of cancerous moles and answered my questions with care and consideration. He is the loveliest doctor and is clearly excellent in terms of his clinical knowledge. I will be going to him from now on - as will my family.

Dr McGilligan removed built up earwax for me. He also gave me advice in order to avoid ear wax build up in the future. Very pleased with the service he provided.

I was referred to Dr. Joe McGilligan because I had a small growth on my cheek that was causing me some concern. At my consultation Dr. Joe suspected it was a Basal Cell Carcinoma and suggested it should be removed. The operation was carried out there and then and without any pain or discomfort. Although Dr. Joe advised he would have to make an incision wide enough to make sure all of the area was clear the resulting "scar" is extremely fine and started to heal beautifully within the first 24 hours. I am confident that within a very short while there will be little evidence of this operation having been carried out. Dr. Joe called and emailed me with the histology result and confirmed his original diagnosis also advising no further attention was required. Dr. Joe is friendly, approachable and thoroughly professional. I have great confidence in him and should the occasion arise at any time in the future would not hesitate to contact him again. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

I had a great experience visiting Dr Joseph McGilligan. I had two hard lumps on my leg. He diagnosed within 30 seconds, explained thoroughly what they were and said that they could be removed that day if I was able to wait around for 45 mins, which I did. Took about 30 mins to cut them out and stitch me up. Very careful and calm, and left very happy indeed. The scars have heeled beautifully too.
