The doctor listed to everything I had to say and explained fully why I had to continue with the medication I'm on. He also explained fully the symptoms and effect (ie Anthritis) to me reassuring me and offering helpful advice to help myself cope with/ improve the situation. I left feeling confident and reasurred.

Sensible triage system for urgent appts.
Though c. 1 week to wait for a scheduled appt.
Perhaps a bit rushed at consultation. so I forgot to ask a question.
I feel the quality of are to be good though.

My family and I have been registered with the surgery for about 6 years. We have found the care outstanding. Emergency appointments are possible without fuss - the triage system seems to work well. The GPs are down to earth and very professional. I don't mind paying taxes when services such as this are provided!

Very good surgery but getting appointments can be a pain needing to wait weeks for them,the staff are very friendly
Thank you for your feedback, it really does make a difference. I am sorry that you have had issues with getting an appointment. Most surgeries across the country are struggling with appointments due to there being a shortage of locums and funding to cover permanent GP's when they are off for leave, study, meetings etc. We also have 1 GP leaving us and 2 going on maternity leave which means they are having to take outstanding holiday before they finish, which is compounding the problem somewhat. We are hopeful that we will be back on track by January, however, if you are wanting to see a specific GP then the wait will always be longer irregardless. We also have daily triage so if you feel you can't wait for an appointment we can put you on the list so the duty doctor can ring you back.
