What an amazing hospital, I was in Birch ward, which was clean and the care from all staff was excellent. Staff were aware of patient needs and these were dealt with in a timely manner. As a patient I was listened to and asked if I required pain relief but this was not pushed it I didn't require it.
I encountered a friendly attitude from all staff, Dr's, nurses, theatre staff and cleaners, nothing seemed too much trouble.
I particularly liked the interaction of the staff among themselves. I didn't hear or witness any grumbles or moans, everyone appeared to enjoy their job.
The food was very good with a wide selection on the menu and ample portions.
A first class experience from the moment I entered the hospital to the moment I left - and beyond. As a day zero patient I was well looked after remotely. I can't speak more highly of my experience.,
Perfect care thank you
Very happy with the Birch ward. My mum does nit speak much english and allowed to come earlier in order to put her mind at ease.
I visited the treatment centre recently. The lady on the reception desk was lovely and explained what i needed to do and where to go.
My consultant and his team were lovely.
Xray department were also great.
I was seen by all, on time and was put at ease by everybody i encountered.
This is the best hospital on our journey
The hospital itself and the nurse present with me in the room i cannot fault at all. However, I would refuse to see this doctor again.
I felt totally misunderstood by Dr Rui Parracho. He listened only to what he chose to listen to and seemed incapable of showing any empathy or understanding.
He made me feel dismissed when i tried to explain and his bed side manner atrocious.
Many thanks to all at Birch Ward who looked after me in my short stay for my hip replacement operation. Kind Regards Henry Miller
Very caring, polite and very professional staff in all ares of this hospital.
I was greeted by the staff on Birch ward, a few checks, and taken to my ward.
The ward was very clean, and tidy. Next steps were explained by the nursing team.
The staff on birch ward were very polite, understanding and always smiling considering how busy they all are. After surgery the staff were very caring, and again understanding, especially as I wasn’t feeling great after the general.
Night staff were busy and again very understanding and very helpful.
To the whole team on Birch ward, thank you and keep up the great work.
