Nurse Practitioner Judith Alvarez was ever so compassionate and caring. She was so kind, showed empathy and commitment to her job. What a great Nurse, thank you for your great care. We need more nurses like Judith.
The staff in CDU totally neglect a patient, they forget about me several times, I spent in A&E department around 24 hours! They didn't check my vital sing for more then 12 hours, witch in my case was really important! One of the doctors are get decisions to transfer me in Queens hospital, paramedic is tell them that is not right because I need an urgent care but he doesn't listen and just close the ambulance door!!! Totally mad care!!!
The staff was attentive, reassuring and kept me updated on my progress.
I expected to be booked in for open hernia surgery but when it came to it the procedure was not only laparascopic but also robotic. I never really understood how or why the change came about or why I was now under the care of a different surgeon. I would have appreciated being kept better informed.
Having said that I was really pleased to have the less invasive robotic procedure.
Very satisfied with treatment and care.
When I presented at A & E reception I was processed very quickly and triaged quickly -so that I was given an ECG, and a blood sample was taken promptly. Thereafter there was an understandable delay before seeing a physician, and I was then given, promptly, an X-ray to rule out certain possibilities. Following this there was a further short delay before a "cardiac physiologist" arrived - prompted by the attending physician - and my problem with my Implanted Cardiac Device was analysed and, basically, solved. After a further understandable delay the physician discharged me - but requested a final check of my heart rate before allowing me to leave. Unfortunately the nursing staff did not carry out this check for more than an hour later, and I had to enquire about the delay before that check was carried out.
All were well conducted
Unqualified person to put needle in my arms caused injury to my arm. Then onward received oral antibiotics. I had same experience with h male and female staff/ nurses.
I was told on 2 May 2025 that I will be discharged around 11 am but due to non availability of medication I was told I would have to wait till 6pm for the medication to arrive. My son arrived to take me home and after waiting I left around 4.30 pm with a promise to pick up medicine after 6 pm which we did.
