I have spoken on several occasions on the telephone to Louise at my request. She has always responded promptly and cheerfully and given me understanding and helpful advice. Louise has made a home visit for me recently and as a result of her helpful advice and positive attitude towards my difficulties I now feel much more confident about myself, the products I’m using and managing my stoma.
After four years of struggling to manage my stoma Louise has made a real difference to my confidence by her kindness, patience, understanding and experience.
It was lovely meeting Louise from NAMS having a face to face appointment where I could discuss my problems and straightaway she put me at ease and really understood and helped by talking through my problems advising what help would be best for me Louise was very proffesional and I cannot thank her enough I think this service being able to have a face to face relaxed appointment is needed more and really does help
FOUND OUT A LOT I DIDNT KNOW, NICE TO FINALLY HAVE SOMEONE WHO CARES AFTER 11 YEARS.
Nurse Turner was very helpful and gave good advice
I asked Louise about a problem I was having and she put me at ease straight away. I also mentioned to her that I was going to have chemotherapy and asked her how it would affect my bowels and stoma; again;' she put my mind at rest and also sent me some barrier cream in case I needed it, so thank you Louise.
