Sabina Khan saw me every Monday for six weeks during the course of proton beam therapy that I received. She was kind, patient, empathetic, had a good sense of humour and made sure that she answered all of my questions. I wish all heathcare professionals would take a leaf out of Sabina's book.

Sabina and her team provided outstanding care for me during the seven weeks of my proton beam therapy treatment. I had clinic appointments every Monday and Thursday where Sabina, dieticians, speech therapists and doctors advised me how to cope with the side effects of the treatment. Everyone was extremely kind and caring. They told me how to manage problems even before they started. Medications were regularly prescribed which eased symptoms very quickly. I was given telephone numbers to contact if necessary on non clinic days which was very reassuring. The team of radiographers who saw me every day were always cheerful and friendly. They made the treatments as comfortable as possible and chatted to me during the process which helped with nervousness and apprehension. I am extremely grateful to everyone involved with my care for enabling me to get through a difficult time. Thank you so much.

Sabina Kahn was the specialist radiographer for my proton beam therapy treatment following my diagnosis and tumour removal surgery for Olfactory Neuro Blastoma from 06Apr22-17May22. Sabina was incredibly professional, Sympathetic and caring throughout my treatment. The clinical team and radiology team which she lead are a credit to the NHS. I cannot thank Sabina and the team enough for my care during this time.
